Plantation Productions, Inc., provides several lighting packages tailored to our customers' needs, budgets, and power requirements. For those combining light and sound systems, Plantation Productions, Inc., provides extremely agressive pricing allowing our customers to afford a great lighting package to go along with the great sound system they are renting.

Lighting Systems

Overview

Plantation Productions, Inc., features three lighting packages: an incandescent package when maximum illumination is necessary, an LED lighting package when (the lack of) electrical power is a critical factor, and a lighting effects package. These three packages can be combined for maximum effect.

Lighting
"A" Package
(Incandescent Fixtures)

Up to 12 PAR64 Incandescent fixtures.
Power Requirements: 5 amps per PAR64 Fixture (i.e., 60 amps maximum for the total package). Generally, we turn these lights on and leave them on (they're for illumination only, not lighting effects). Dimmer packs are available, if desired, but be forewarned that dimmer packs for incandescent can introduce objectionable hum in an audio system under some circumstances.

The "A" package includes the following:

  • Up to 12 PAR64 fixtures.
  • Dimmer packs (optional, not recommended with audio systems).
  • 16-channel DMX controller board (optional, for dimmer packs).
  • All necessary DMX cables (optional, for dimmer packs).
  • Two heavy-duty 16' truss stands.
  • Up to 30' of rectangular truss

Lighting
"B" Package
(LED Fixtures)

The "B" package is a DMX-controlled LED lighting package. Full RGB color control of each fixture in the package.

The "B" package includes the following:

  • Up to 16 LED PAR64 LED fixtures (Chauvet and American DJ).
  • 24-channel x 2-scene DMX controller board.
  • All necessary DMX cables
  • Two heavy-duty 16' truss stands.
  • Up to 30' of rectangular truss

"C" Package
(Effects)

The "C" package contains lots of special effects that can add pizzaz to a show. Plantation Productions, Inc., can choose a reasonable set of effects for your show. Effect packages can include the following:

  • Fog machine
  • Hazer
  • (3) Pearl LED moonflower effects
  • (2) Chauvet moonflower effects
  • (2) LED/UV (blacklight) fixtures
  • Chauvet Scorpion RG 100mw laser
  • Scanners
  • Beacons
  • Flame lighting effect
  • 800W strobes
  • Appropriate stands
