The large-event audio packages are perfect for loud bands who want a P.A. system that can compete with large instrument amplifiers, as well as bands who would prefer (for sonic quality) to run their instruments through the sound reinforcement system, or would like to have their amplifier cabinets mic'd and fed into the sound system.
Plantation Productions large-event audio systems are also great for concert promotors who need to provide a solid system for a series of bands performing on the same stage.

Large Event Sound Systems

Overview

For those who do care about using "name-brand" sound reinforcement and lighting equipment, Plantation Productions' large event sound & lighting systems fits the bill.
The heart of our large-sized system is our Allen & Heath 24-channel mixing board, a rack of Crown and QSC amplifiers, and our effects rack (featuring components from dbx, T.C. Electronics, Lexicon, T.C. Helicon, and others). Our mid-sized pro audio packages generally provide between 5,200 and 7,600 watts of audio power.
For sound reproduction, we use JBL 418, 415, and 225 speakers and subwoofers for front of house (FOH) and monitors. We can also deploy AC 3-way speakers as front fill for larger shows. These speakers provide some of the best sound you'll get out of a P.A. system without that annoying "mid-range bump" that causing hearing fatigue at loud concerts
Combined with some Shure, AKG, and Audix microphones and possibly some direct-in boxes for acoustic guitars (with pickups) or Line 6 Pod XT amp modellers for electric guitars, you've got a perfect P.A. system for large concerts and other sound reinforcement needs.

For loud bands that want uncompromising quality in their sound reinforcement system. Offered in two configurations (4a & 4b): with and without subwoofers. Option 4a provides a total of six JBL 415 speakers for additional dispersion. Perfect if you're not mic'ing the drums or other percussive instruments or instruments with a very low frequency output.
Package 4a is also great for outdoor events where you need a very wide sound dispersion or if you need to address a larger crowd.
